Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative/Dispatcher. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in our operations, acting as the first point of contact for our clients and ensuring that their needs are addressed promptly and professionally. This position requires excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, and a strong commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as the primary point of contact for our customers, providing a warm, professional greeting, and efficiently addressing their needs and concerns.
- Schedule and dispatch service technicians to customer locations, ensuring optimal routing and timing for service calls.
- Coordinate closely with technicians in the field to keep them informed of job details, changes in scheduling, and any customer-specific requirements.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of customer interactions, service requests, and dispatch activities in our database.
- Provide timely updates to customers regarding the status of their service request, including estimated arrival times and any changes to the schedule.
- Work collaboratively with the service team to resolve any issues that arise during service calls, ensuring customer satisfaction.
- Assist in managing the on-call schedule for emergency services, ensuring that customers have access to our services when needed most.
- Participate in training and development opportunities to stay up-to-date with industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in customer service.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent; further education or training in customer service or related field is a plus.
- Previous experience in a customer service or dispatcher role, preferably in a plumbing, heating, or cooling service environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact positively with customers and team members.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with scheduling software or dispatch systems is preferred.

Pay: $19.00 – $25.00 per hour
