HVAC Install Technician

Thompson’s is looking for an experienced Hvac tech to efficiently undertake a variety of tasks. The ideal candidate are patient individuals with a practical mind and a heart to serve our customer’s with efficiency and great attention to detail.

We are seeking a team player who works well under pressure and will assist the rest of the staff in completing tasks and projects successfully. The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic, detail-oriented professional who has a background in installing and maintaining HVAC systems. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work on new and exciting projects, so it is important for them to have a background working with electrical equipment like air conditioners, furnaces and heat exchangers. Responsibilities:

• Be able to work with contractors and clients to determine problem areas and solutions.
• Know how to identify and use the proper parts, materials, and tools.
• Be able to communicate effectively with technicians, clients and co-workers.
• Be able to read schematics
• Know how to solve problems while staying within company guidelines and regulations.
• Be able to troubleshoot a problem area or system

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 – $100,000.00 per year

Schedule:

• 10 hour shift
• 8 hour shift

Experience:

• Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
• HVAC: 2 years (Required)

License/Certification:

• EPA Type II (Preferred)
• Driver’s License (Preferred)
